Marian Sigmund (1903-1993)-studied architecture at the Lviv Polytechnic Institute, then interior design at the Warsaw Academy of Fine Arts and scenography under Leon Schiller. Co-founder of the Artists' Cooperative "Ład", lecturer in interior design at the Warsaw Academy of Fine Arts. After the war, he returned to the country in 1947, participated in the reactivation of "Ład", was one of the designers employed in the creation of the Nowa Huta housing estate in Krakow, worked with the Bent Furniture Factory in Jasienica.
