Glosa: Stanisław Jakubowski - graphic artist, painter. Initially studied at the School of Wood Industry in Stanislawow (sculpture department), and between 1907 and 1912 studied at the Academy of Fine Arts in Cracow (under Teodor Axentowicz, Stanislaw Dębicki, Leon Wyczolkowski, among others), from 1912 a teacher in secondary education, from 1946 a lecturer, then an associate professor at the Academy of Fine Arts in Cracow. From about 1914 he was mainly engaged in artistic printmaking, a master of woodcut, also practiced metal techniques, author of about a thousand engravings, moreover, a prolific utility printmaker, an expert in ornament and Slavic themes.
