Stanislaw Luczak (1912 -1980) was a graphic artist, painter and draughtsman associated with Inowrocław and the Kuyavia region, studying at the Poznan Institute of Fine Arts, where in the graphic arts department he gained his training under Professors Wroniecki, Mondral and Kuglin. He documented with his drawings thousands of archaeological sites in Greater Poland and Kuyavia as an associate of the Institute of the History of Material Culture of the Polish Academy of Sciences. In his woodcuts, he eagerly returned to the motifs and themes of his hometown, creating dynamic compositions of large size - such as the Pradak presented here, which refers to Rogalin oaks.
