Painter, graphic artist, stage designer. Studied at the Academy of Fine Arts in Cracow under J. Pieńkowski, T. Axentowicz, W. Weiss and graphic design under J. Wojnarski. He supplemented his studies in Paris and in Italy as a scholarship holder of the Ministry of Religious Denominations and Public Enlightenment. He worked as a stage designer for the theaters of Cracow and Poznan (1926-1929), and was the creator of the Miniatura Theater in Cracow. In printmaking, he mainly practiced woodcuts, influenced by Skoczylas. Most often he took up figural and architectural subjects, which he subjected to decorative stylization. He was involved in advertising graphics and designing children's books.
