The graphic is from the Portfolio of woodcuts issued by the Provincial Office in Cracow on the occasion of July 22, 1949.

Stanislaw Topfer (1917-1975)
Polish painter, graphic artist and illustrator of children's books.
He was a member of the Group of 9 Graphic Artists, a Cracow-based art group, active between 1947 and 1960. It was the first Polish art group formed immediately after World War II and also the first to continue the pre-war traditions of graphic art.
