Born in Gdynia in 1959, the artist recalls that he created his first paintings when he was still nine years old. For the first time, his works were exhibited in 1996 at the White Trunk Gallery. However, he considers 1997 to be a turning point in his career, when he experienced clinical death during an operation, an experience that affected both his personal life and his entire mature oeuvre.
