Painter, associated with the Katowice art community, co-founder of the St-53 Group. Like the other members of the St-53 Group, he was fascinated by the work and theoretical thought of Władysław Strzemiński. Initially inspired by Cubism, over time his painting developed in the direction of abstraction, only to return again to the object, to which he gave an almost sculptural form, modeling it in wood and plaster, and enriching the texture with thickly applied paint. The artist participated in numerous group exhibitions and had solo exhibitions in Warsaw, Katowice, Bytom and Szczecin. His works are in the collections of the National Museum in Warsaw, the Museum of Western Pomerania in Szczecin, the Museum in Torun, the Museum of Modern Art in Stockholm, among others.
