Born in 1949 in Elk. In 1978-80 studied at the State Higher School of Fine Arts in Poznań, and later (1981-86) at the Hochschule der Kunste in Berlin, in the studio of Prof. J.H. Lonas. He received his diploma in sculpture in 1986.While studying in Berlin, he worked as an apprentice at the famous sculpture foundry "Herman NOACK Bildgieserei", where he met many world-renowned sculptors, including Henry Moore. Cooperation in making sculptures resulted in a residency at his Pery Green studio near London in 1990. Currently, the artist lives in Wroclaw. He has had about 30 solo exhibitions and dozens of group exhibitions. His works have been exhibited in Germany, Italy, Denmark, Sweden, England, Turkey and numerous galleries in the country.
