Jan WODYÑSKI (1903-1988)

Studied at the Krakow Academy of Fine Arts under Wojciech Weiss and Felicjan Szczęsny Kowarski. A member of the Pryzmat group active in 1930-1939, he practiced easel and monumental painting classified as Colorism. He painted landscapes, still lifes, portraits.

He was active in teaching. He was a professor at the Nicolaus Copernicus University in Torun, the Academy of Fine Arts in Gdansk and the Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw.
