Born in 1960 in Działdów, died in 2021. Since childhood he felt the need to create. In 1975 he painted his first oil painting. Since then he has regularly participated in plein-air and group exhibitions. After coming into contact with the paintings of Zdzislaw Beksinski, he began to create in the spirit of surrealism. Mariusz Lewandowski creates visionary paintings full of spirituality and symbolism with a specific mood. He has collaborated with the band Bell Witch (more than 30 album covers) and the renowned Zero Skateboards brand, Jamie Thomas (limited series of five skateboards). The artist's work is recognized in the United States, Canada, Australia, Brazil or Germany. His paintings are in many Polish and foreign collections.
