70x100 cm, techniques: graphite, cardboard, collage, pencil, paper, cardboard, year of creation 2020
"And it's a cat!" is a collage by Grazyna Lange and Monika Hanulak, which attracts attention with its simplicity and expressive contrast. This collage is presented on a plane measuring 70 cm high and 100 cm wide, made using graphite, cardboard, pencil, paper and cardboard techniques. The work was created in 2020. The artists used various techniques, such as graphite and pencil, to render the details of the cat's fur and posture. The cat appears attentive, perhaps even a little curious, which adds emotional depth to the image.
The "And That's a Cat!" collage is minimalistic and focused on the animal itself, allowing the viewer to focus on the cat's details and expression. This also leaves room for imagination and one's own interpretations. The authors have done several books together. The most recent of these are: "A Book for the Dog," Two Sisters 2022, "A Book for the Cat," Two Sisters 2022, "Dog, Cat, Action! Animation," Two Sisters 2023.
