Beautiful collage made of black paper in a very minimalist, thoughtful convention. The silhouette of the cat, made with precision and a sense of proportion, was glued onto vintag paper of a beautiful ecru color. This unique work will be a wonderful decoration for any art lover. This unique work of art was made by the duo Grazka Hanulak & Monika Lange. The authors have made several books together. Assistant to Grazka Lange at the Illustration Studio of the Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw. Works with drawing, illustration, book design. Author of, among others, graphic design and illustrations for books "Kic-kic contra generał Gąsienica" in cooperation with Grazka Lange, Endo 2004, "Smonia" Wytwórnia 2006, "C'etait un crocodile... Petite histoire de l'evolution" Lirabelle, France 2007, "Tuwim. Wiersze dla dzieci" Wytwórnia 2007, "Debata filozoficzna Królika z Dudkiem o Sprawiedliwości" to a text by Leszek Kołakowski wyd. Muchomor 2009, "Pampilio" to a text by Irena Tuwim for the Wytwórnia publishing house 2010, "Boucles d'Or et les deux ours" to a text by Zidrou for the Rouergue publishing house, France 2012, "Kern" Wytwórnia 2015, "Co słychać" to a text by Anna Czerwińska-Rydel. Winner of many prestigious awards at home and abroad. Privately, she is happiest in the company of animals and comes up with concepts for books.
Monika Hanulak
Designs books, more than 100 in total (for which she quite often receives awards and prizes).
She teaches at the Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw (for years at the Book Design Studio, now she runs the Illustration Studio). She owns a sizable collection of Polish children's books from the 1960s and 1970s, but also books from around the world.
