Biography
Initially studied at the Warsaw Drawing Class under Wojciech Gerson. He continued his painting studies in 1901-03 in Munich, later in Paris. He was a member of the Pro Arte association. He collaborated as an illustrator with "Tygodnik Ilustrowanym", "Biesiada Literacka" and Warsaw's "Świat". The subjects of his paintings were mainly battle compositions from the history of Polish armies, as well as genre scenes, views of old architecture and Tatra landscapes.
