"Where do we come from? Who are we? Where are we going?
"Who was it? A friend? A good person? Someone who had compassion? Someone who wanted to help? Was it one person? Was it all of them?"
Kafka, Beckett, Ionesco, Mrozek...?
Why doesn't anyone want to tell me what this is all about?
Just assume that Pi equals 2 comma 89 and you can make a vicious circle out of any circle.
Like frustrated scientists, no logical reasoning gets them any closer to the truth. They feel that something is wrong. There is Joseph K., helpless, with the question looping back and forth of where he came from and why, there are Vladimir and Estragon waiting for Godot. There's also the zoo director hanging around and the inflatable elephant that flew away. There is also the last man wondering about his transformation into a rhinoceros. There are others, too, occasionally trying to articulate the need for communication, albeit through completely different languages. The only thing still absent is the Bald Singer....
Everyone has their own story, their own questions, but all are suspended in some fragment of space and time."
