Waclaw Wąsowicz (born August 25, 1891 in Warsaw, died October 6, 1942 in Wilanow, Poland) - Polish painter, graphic artist.Studied at the Wojciech Gerson Drawing School in Warsaw (1909-1910), and then at the Warsaw School of Fine Arts (1911-1914) under Ignacy Pienkowski. He was also a pupil of Jacek Malczewski at the Academy of Fine Arts in Cracow (1914).He practiced easel painting, printmaking (woodcut), watercolors, painted on fabrics and ceramics, and was also involved in interior design. He held many social functions.He was a member of art groups: Formists, Rhythm and Ritual.In May 1939, he exhibited three of his paintings at the Lodz gallery of the Institute of Art Propaganda: "Two Girls" (a painting purchased by the National Culture Foundation), "Painter and Models" (owned by the Ministry of Religious Denominations and Public Enlightenment) and "Road from the Countryside" (a painting awarded in Paris.
