Russia USSR Medal (1943) 'To the Partisan of the Patriotic War' On the front side of the medal there is a bust profile image of V.I. Lenin and I.V. Stalin; turned to the left. Along the circumference of the medal; on a 4 mm wide ribbon; there is an inscription 'O THE PARTY OF THE PATRIOTIC WAR'; at the beginning and end of which there are two small stars. In the lower part of the medal there is a convex five-pointed star with a sickle and a hammer in the center and with the letters 'USSR' on both sides; located on the folds of the ribbon. On the reverse side of the medal there is an inscription in three lines 'FOR OUR SOVIET HOMELAND'. Above the inscription; at the top of the medal; there is an image of a hammer and sickle. All images and inscriptions on the medals are convex. The medal is connected with an eyelet and a ring to a pentagonal block covered with a silk moire ribbon 24 mm wide. Light green ribbon with a longitudinal stripe in the center. The first degree of the medal has a red stripe; the second degree has a blue one. Strip width 2 mm. Brass. Weight approx: 27.59 g.
