Andrzej Gieraga
Born 1934 in Śliwniki, Lodz voivodeship; full professor at the Academy of Fine Arts in Lodz, where he taught until 2005. From 1994 to 2014 he worked at Radom Technical University (now University of Technology and Humanities), serving as head of the Department of Painting and Drawing from 2008. Since 2014, he has been working at the Art Department of the Academy of Humanities and Economics in Lodz. He works in painting, drawing, printmaking, digital and applied graphics. He has held more than 70 solo exhibitions and participated in more than 300 group exhibitions at home and abroad
